Supplier Relationship Management/Vendor Manager/Stakeholder Manager - Manchester

Our client currently has an opportunity for a Supplier Relationship Management from a Banking background to join their Commercial Management team in Manchester.

Essential Skills required

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:
* Experience of delivering and developing vendor management relationship strategies with major suppliers/partners
* Able to balance creativity with strategic thinking and commercial/financial acumen.
* Ability to think and work at an industry level and network appropriately.
* Significant experience of working with and influencing senior management teams and business and operational stakeholders.
* In depth knowledge of negotiation and supplier management approaches and techniques
* In depth understanding of emerging trends, developments and current issues facing the UK retail financial services industry.
* Strong analytical skills to evaluate/assess and prioritise businesses cases and benefits realisation.
* Good knowledge and understanding of the regulatory environment in the finance industry.
