On behalf of our major client we are looking for a contract position for a
SUPPLIER QUALITY ENGINEER
This is an administrative Quality Analyst role to consolidate and Supplier Database and PSL.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Execution of supplier analysis
- Analysis of analysis results and reporting to functional manager
- Support and consulting for the development of corrective action plans and corrective actions at suppliers
- Evaluation and monitoring of corrective actions at suppliers
- Support for the evaluation of new products at suppliers as well as new suppliers
- Collaboration with the purchasing departments regarding scheduling and communication with suppliers
- Collaboration with Quality Engineering departments regarding improvement of product quality
- Collaboration for the monitoring of the supplier data base
- Assessment of supplier quality and creation of Scorecards
- Collection and analysis of metrics for Management Reporting (Management Review)
- Knows and follows the guidelines regarding the code of conduct, ethics and compliance programs and other relevant regulations
- Ensure the current system master data and internal information
- Advice and attending the internal customers
- Maintenance of the supplier database
- Purchasing Management
- Coordination, creation and maintenance of the QSA contracts
- Optimization and maintenance of the procurement procedures and their quality
- Optimization of the supplier structure
- Early coordination of extraordinary orders with the relevant procurement function
- Maintenance of the ASL list
- Archiving and backup of documents
- Management/Support of internal improvement projects.
Required skills:
- 3-5 years relevant experience
- Organizational talent, reliability, flexibility, personal initiative, good communication skills, customer/service orientation.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to perform under pressure
- Must be able to work on multiple simultaneous tasks with limited supervision
- Quick learner, motivated self-starter
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills
- Able to follow change management for internal guidelines
- Fluent in German is a must, fluent English is preferred
