Supplier Quality Engineer

I am currently looking for a supplier quality engineer for a global aerospace company based in Hampshire.

The role is for an initial 6 month contract but for the right quality engineer it will be extended for up to 2 years.

The rate for the role is £33-38 depending on experience.

Your main responsibility will be the development and execution of quality plans for the following program elements: -

*Manage, implement and control customer, internal and supplier product and process audits with the focus on conformance and driving forward continuous improvement
*Develop, implement and maintain quality documentation and metrics including process mapping
*Support, develop and implement supplier quality assurance and control processes
*Ultimately provide the primary interface to the customer for all quality related requirements
*Support new product introduction (NPI)
*Engineering process configuration management
*Quality validation and verification
*Production process implementation and sign off
*Supplier development and selection through auditing
*Quality inspection training
*Continuous Improvement activities
