Supplier Manager for Medical Device Procurement (m/f)

IHRE AUFGABEN:
-Developing a sourcing strategy for the supply of devices, considering capacity expansion, market and development needs and assessing/implementing a second source alternative
-Developing and implementing sourcing strategies to enable the customers functions to meet productivity improvement and delivery targets
-Identify, drive and implement alternative sourcing strategy for risk mitigation and business continuity purposes
-Initiating, negotiating and executing contracts and agreements, relevant for the device area, including commercial terms, intellectual property and confidentiality
-Ensuring compliance with all legal, ethical, and procurement standards
-Managing key supplier relationships through appropriate programs (e.g. alliance management, supplier relationship management) to enable innovation and cost containment through mutual accountability and trust
-Ensuring that the Category Management and Supplier Relationship Management processes are followed as a key business process
IHRE QUALIFIKATIONEN:
-Broad technical and pharmaceutical development understanding and experience
-Business experience in purchasing/sourcing or business development
-University degree or equivalent (e.g. BS or BA, PhD and/or MBA preferred)
-Experience in the development of medical devices, and/or experience with device consultancies or device developing companies would be an asset
-Experience of injection moulding / assembly process and transfer from development to commercial scale up a valuable asset
-Proven ability in project management, continuous improvement and leading complex projects, delivering results through a cross-functional team
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills with successful presentation capabilities and negotiation skills
-English essential, Mandarin (desirable)
