Supplier Manager, Contract, Switzerland

SUPPLIER MANAGER, CONTRACT, SWITZERLAND

For our large multinational Swiss Medical Devices client in Switzerland, we are currently searching for a Supplier Manager to work in Basel. The role is to work with an existing team focussed on a supplier account that is linked with both commercial and development activities. Key focus is supplier relationship management and co-ordination of an internal cross functional team. Focus areas include driving the supplier on capacity expansion, commercialisation scale up and meeting market launch requirements.

Please see below for requirements of the role:

- Broad technical and pharmaceutical development understanding and experience of at least 5 years
- Business experience in purchasing/sourcing or business development for at least 2 to 4 years
- University degree or equivalent (eg BS or BA, PhD and/or MBA preferred)
- Experience in the development of medical devices, and/or experience with device consultancies or device developing companies would be an asset
- Experience of injection moulding/assembly process and transfer from development to commercial scale up a valuable asset
- Proven ability in project management, continuous improvement and leading complex projects, delivering results through a cross-functional team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with successful presentation capabilities and negotiation skills
- Excellent team work in a multidisciplinary environment with strong customer focus
- English essential, Mandarin (desirable)
