Background
Our Central Government client is currently recruiting for an Exit Manager for an 11 month contract based in London. There is a requirement to establish an Exit Management Team to address the emerging pressures which their current Programme has identified, taking the responsibility for ensuring a controlled exit from existing incumbent contracts and relationships whilst working with the Transition team in close collaboration. The core deliverable areas are; 1. Provide Exit Management planning and management of the supplier exit obligations in order to deliver a successful outcome 2. Assisting in defining the Exit Management Strategy on behalf of the work stream

Main Duties/Responsibilities
Documentation of exit obligations providing clarity on commercial terms;. Clarity on the TUPE risk to inform the Programme. Ensure the Exiting suppliers exit activities are managed, quality assured and delivered in a timely and cost effective manner;. To identify any incumbent interdependencies on other parties to deliver the exit obligations and activities and ensure that the resource requirements are known and agreed;. Facilitating that the Exiting suppliers are contracted to undertake the agreed transition activities. Work with the Tower Transition Managers to understand new supplier dependencies on the incumbent supplier during transition and contract for these with the incumbents and assure the delivery;. Understand the impact on the current supplier service models of extracting services by Tower and their ability to maintain service levels through a change period. Work with the Intercept Manager to understand future change and impact this against incumbent exit activities, BAU delivery and transition plans

Skills/Experience Required
- Cost experience would be beneficial

- Managing risks and issues
- Working on very large pieces of work (value)
- Experience of exiting from Legacy contracts and moving towards a new model/suppliers ensuring a smooth transition

Formal Qualifications Required
ESSENTIAL.
Experience in closing out large outscoring agreements. Ability to lead project teams ensuring key deliverables are met. The successful candidate will be an experienced IT professional with a background in working with multiple out sourced vendors. Operates comfortably at senior levels in a variety of situations. You will possess strong communications, relationship building, negotiation and influencing skills. Has wide and detailed IT knowledge, together with detailed understanding of the principles of business and markets and sound experience of relevant business sectors. Knows how to make and sustain a business case through effective benefits management, and demonstrates the ability to make, and take responsibility for, adventurous and innovative decisions on major technical and service delivery issues. Has an analytical and creative approach to problem solving. You will possess strong planning and organisation skills. Experience of working in a complex multi-source sourcing programme with a matrixed delivery model.
