For our pharmaceutical partner in Brabant Walloon we're currently looking for a SUPERVISOR PACKAGING.
You will be involved in the manufacture of a product to satisfy the needs of a production schedule. Includes hands-on activities following predefined procedures.
PLACE: Walloon Brabant
CONTRACT: Contractor/freelance
START: 1/10/2013
DURATION: 6 months
- Operates, monitors and controls part of a production line resulting in final packaged pharmaceutical products meeting regulatory and quality standards
- Follows precise procedures and respects GMP rules and guidelines concerning quality, safety and hygiene
- Cleans and assures proper functioning of manufacturing equipment, performs simple maintenance
- May write manufacturing reports and prepare required documents, including those relating to quality assurance
- Supervises staff and coordinates operations of manufacturing the final product (quality, quantity, cost, deadline). Responsible for 2 to 3 full packaging lines (labelling, blistering, cartooning)
- Motivates and encourages teams of technicians and workers to achieve maximum productivity. Has authority for hiring, termination, discipline and performance decision
- Ensure to meet product quality standards and to meet production goals. Recognizes and solves problems affecting production including schedules, staff, quality and order of production line. Decide adjustments as necessary to produce product within specifications. Reject product outside of specifications
- Coordinate specific projects of improvement to ensure quality, efficiency, productivity, security
- Department representative in committees and team meetings
- Organize and monitor production efficiency through key performance indicators
PROFILE
- Scientific university degree or Engineer
- Advance knowledge in supply chain
- Full knowledge of Packaging GMP for pharmaceuticals
- At least 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical production or equivalent
- People management experience
