Introduction

The requested supervisor will lead a team of operators that execute the final packing of all regular products and next to that major attention will be needed for the industrialization and scale-up of our newest printer.

Today the project is in a Lead Customer Program-phase in which we assemble the first products for the customers in en early industrialization phase (build to order-concept). A lot of non-optimal processes still exist, support from indirects (engineers, R&D) is still needed on a daily basis.

An indication of the size of the project is given by the number of parts and labour hours: 1000+ assembly hours, 10.000+ parts per engine. For the project we prefer a technical educated supervisor, who can also fill in part of the line support and improvement program for the packaging line.

Position's main tasks:

- Lead the daily production
- packaging team regular products
- packaging team for the project
- availability of people
- work planning
- realization of the daily work
- leads the improvement and line support for the project. In this role he will act under supervision of an industrial engineering coach.
- organizes instant support in case of major problems (R&D, Industrial Engineer or logistic escalation)
- manager of operator team, eg: hiring process, and task setting and appraisals.

Required area of education:

- production management
- project management
- mechanical background

Professional skills:

- organizing and planning competencies
- technical and operation communication skills (both operators, management and engineers)
- knowledge of hr processes.

Field of experience: Machine assembly, low volume serial production of capital goods.
