Supervisor

Cable / Telecom system design and engineering provider in north metro Atlanta, GA is seeking a Broadband/Metro Ethernet/FTTX design Project Manager / Supervisor for a temp to hire position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Responsible and accountable for the total project scope, scheduling and timely invoicing.
- Interact with customer on developing specifications for proposed projects
- Manage tasks related to specifications, design creation, cell library's, modifications, implementation of the Project Definition

REQUIREMENTS

- 5+ years as a project manager in the telecom industry, including experience in Broadband/Metro Ethernet/FTTX design such as fiber plant design, splicing documentation, and RF/stand design in a CAD environment required
- Must be familiar with design and drafting software including Bentley/Microstation 8.5 or higher and AutoCAD 2004 or higher. V8i, Lode Data, Focus, GIS, Access are a plus
- Well versed in as-built redline documentation and posting to CAD.
- Experience managing and scheduling large projects understanding the "critical path" while interfacing with the engineering department of large telecommunication companies
- Bachelors in Engineering or Project Management or equivalent experience required. GIS and/or systems analysis and design a plus
