Supervising Social Worker - Belfast

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Supervising Social Worker to join our professional social work team in Belfast. You will be responsible for providing a comprehensive and flexible social work service to foster carers and young people. This role is on a fixed term contract for 6 months.

Candidates will need to hold a social qualification as recognised by the HCPC or equivalent body.

Proven experience of completing reports to a high standard along with a comprehensive working knowledge of all policies and procedures pertaining safeguarding children is essential to this role.

Experience of working with foster carers and young people would be advantageous although not essential. Candidates will need to be competent in using various Microsoft packages and online recording systems.

You will be a reliable, flexible individual who can work as part of a professional team and also on your own initiative along with the ability to work under pressure and handle changing priorities.

Due to the nature of this role, candidates must possess a full driving licence, a company car will be provided.
