Superintendent

IMMEDIATE NEED !! Client that designs & constructs gas processing plants & refineries is looking for a Mechanical Construction Superintendent for an 12+ month project assignment in Oklahoma. You need 10+ years of experience supporting gas processing (natural gas, ethane recovery, sulfur, hydrocarbon, nitrogen rejection, gas treating, etc...) or refinery EPC projects. Mob, demob, & per diem provided.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Provide on-site administrative & technical management of mechanical construction activities on a refinery construction project in Oklahoma
- Supervise the mechanical construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule
- Assist with the implementation of safety programs and provide direction to planning, scheduling, and engineering functions as required
- Supervise mechanically oriented craft employees and/or other contractors as required by the contract
- Work with mechanical Subcontractors daily to ensure that the project is constructed & documented in accordance with the project specifications, policies, detailed drawings & industry standards
- Plan, coordinate & supervise on-site functions (scheduling, engineering, material control, and may provide day-to-day direction of on-site administrative staff)

REQUIREMENTS

- 10+ years of mechanical construction experience related to gas processing & refinery engineering & construction projects
- At least 5+ years of specific experience as a Mechanical Superintendent on gas processing (natural gas, ethane recovery, sulfur, hydrocarbon, nitrogen rejection, gas treating, etc...) or refinery EPC projects
- Previous experience supervising mechanical craft employees and/or other mechanical contractors
- Solid understanding of mechanical equipment & systems used to build refineries, gas plants and similar heavy industrial facilities
