Summit/Retail Mortgage Support Expert Required for Large Financial org

SUMMIT/RETAIL MORTGAGE SUPPORT EXPERT REQUIRED FOR LARGE FINANCIAL ORGANISATION DUBLIN
This organisation is a large financial services organisation with a large fast paced technical department of over 50. You will join a small team specialising in the support of their Summit Back End mortgage system.
YOUR ROLE:
- Provide the main technical and application support including problem resolution in relation to Summit and related applications.
- Provide end-of-day support for Summit on a rota (this will only apply after suitable training has
- been given)
- Represent the support team at meetings
- Provide feedback to the business on support issues
- Manage the open support issues assigned by the manager in a timely fashion
- Develop new reports from the Summit system as assigned by the manager
- Work closely with business users to clearly understand their requirements and design solutions that meet these requirements within agreed timescales and costs.
- Analyse and document user requirements
- Assist in resolving business/technical queries as they arise
- Ensure that all solutions/designs are documented to IT department standards.
- Provide technical support for UATs
Your skills:
- Excellent knowledge of SQL preferably within an Oracle database environment. Versions 9i, 10g or 11g.
- Good experience of writing ad-hoc reporting-style queries against large enterprise databases.
- Competence in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Access
- Have a track record of application support
THIS IS A 12 MONTH DAILY RATE CONTRACT. EXCELLENT DAILY RATE ON OFFER
