Summer Placement - Engineering

BAE Systems Electronic Systems are currently looking for several undergraduate Engineers, to come and join the team over the summer period. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a keen interest in Engineering, to come and work with our experienced Engineers and gain a better insight in to the world of Engineering. This role will be based in Rochester.

As a Summer Placement Engineer your main responsibilities will involve working as part of a team to:

Perform Requirements and Design Analysis

Integrate our products in a rig environment

Perform problem solving activities

Test that our products meet their stringent performance and safety standards

Generate associated reports

As a Summer Placement Engineer your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

Studying towards an Engineering or Science based qualification

Keen interest in Engineering disciplines such as Software, Optics, Mechanical, Systems or Electronic Hardware

Excellent problem solving skills

Strong Team working and Communication skills

Self-motivation
