Substation Engineer

Two Substation Design Engineers needed for long-term contract positions. Looking for 1 junior level and 1 senior level Designer. Offering rates commensurate with experience and qualifications, located in the Tulsa, OK area .

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Substation physical layouts, selection of substation equipment, writing of substation equipment specifications, construction cost estimates, and project scheduling (NOT required for Junior level position)
- Wiring diagrams and schematics for protection and control
- One-line diagrams, SCADA, communications, conduit and cable sizing/routing
- Work with project and/or commissioning team to verify or modify design documents and drawings for a project, including wiring diagrams and bills of materials, and applying field mark-ups of project as-built drawings to develop protective relay settings

REQUIREMENTS

- Requires a BSEE degree from an accredited University
- Requires 3-8 yrs experience in utility substation design with physical and/or wiring experience
- Experience in medium to extra high voltage utility substation design (EHV experience desired, but not required)
- Professional registration (PE) a plus, but not required
- Proficient in AutoCad or MicroStation
