Subsea Systems/Controls Engineer

I am currently working with one of the large Service Providers inAberdeenon an immediate contract requirement for a Subsea Systems/Control Engineer. The need has arisen due to the constant increase in workload and creates an exciting opportunity for you to get involved at the highest level.

The role will be within a multi skilled group of personnel and you will join as part of the team responsible for global supply of various subsea control systems. The responsibilities are as follows but not limited to;

* Assist with quote preparation and progress reports during the execution phase
* Look over specifications, documents and drawings provided by customer
* Respond to and attend technical clarification meetings
* Review and select vendors, and liaise on a regular basis ensuring all technical changes have been informed
* Deliver projects on time, within cost and quality
* Technical focal point for vendors working with supply of equipment etc.
* Modification of existing subsea control systems to meet changing requirements
* Work with Specialist Engineers typically reliability, hydraulic and electrical analysis to support delivery of the solution

They have specified the requirements as follows;

* BSc/BEng degree qualification in Electrical or Mechanical discipline along with 2 years relevant product experience, or HNC qualification along with a minimum of 5 years relevant product experience
* Ability to write testing procedures for hydro-electric systems
* Ability to clearly explain all technical solutions and offerings
* Capable of attending design reviews and act as lead engineer
* Ability to provide technical and commercial support to bids and quotations
