SUBSEA SYSTEM ENGINEER

- Establish clear functional specifications for our Product Centers of Excellence to bid on at the Tender Phase.
- Participate in HAZOP/HAZID reviews and where necessary give leadership to the execution of these procedures.
- Undertake assessment of FEED projects and the required facilities to determine deliverables in order to meet customer/market needs. Ensure that Subsea Project procedures and standards can and are being applied to minimize technical and commercial risk. Participate in Safety and Risk Committee Evaluations as required.
- Participate in meetings with clients and provide feedback as required to the product Centers of Excellence. Provide presentation on progress and issues on Project Performance. Be prepared to identify and justify mitigating actions to achieve project plans.
- Act as a mentor for younger staff as required - Monitoring, and counseling on their activities. Provide/support training of staff based upon technical expertise.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Must have detailed understanding of:

* Subsea product design basis
* Interface management
* Design verification,
* Management and approval of design changes,
* Field layout,
* P&ID production,
* Cause and effect Matrix,
* Materials management,
* Contract clarification,
* Tender work
* Project execution

Knowledge and understanding of other related systems engineering skills such as:

* Factory Acceptance Test (FAT),
* System Integration Test (SIT),
* Intervention and ROV philosophy.
