Subsea Structural Engineer

My client are looking for an experienced subsea structural engineer. The contract will be 12 months initially based in Aberdeen, rates are fleixble based upon experience. Start dates are ASAP.

The role will involve;
*Perform structural engineering as required on various aspects of subsea structures.
*Produce structural engineering reports and drawings for fabrication and design items as required.
*Provide input to software selection and use for structural engineering purposes.
*Provide support to projects for design of rigging and lifting equipment.
*Provide support when class-approvals for vessel equipment modifications/additions are required.
*Provide technical input into vessel design (eg. deck strength, capacity, etc).
*Provide mentoring and support for colleagues.
*Follow up subcontractors for fabrication of equipment and installation aids.
*Provide input into dynamic installation analysis as required.
*Undertake offshore trips as required.
*Provide vessel mobilisation support as required.
*Perform installation engineering as required for different installation activities.
*Ensure consistent, efficient and high quality engineering driving safety and overall performance.
*Contribute to promoting a friendly and cooperative work environment.
