Subsea Project Engineer

oTo assist in the delivery packages of work for engineering activities and technical assurance as agreed with the Project Manager;
oAssist in the development and co-ordinate subsea designs and deliverables for various work packages including work associated with feasibility, conceptual and front end engineering studies;
oEnsure compliance with the Aker Solutions Operating System for aspects of the work;
oHelp ensure compliance with technical integrity standards and project procedures;
oHelp ensure work packages and data deliverables are compiled and filed in accordance with project procedures;
oAssist in the preparation
oGeneral support to the Project Manager on project issues resulting in the timely delivery and execution of the project;
oLiaison with discipline / requisition engineers, and project services, for project reporting and general engineering issues;
oAssist to identify procurement packages and liaison with discipline / requisition engineers and supply change management, to ensure no gaps or overlaps;
oLiaison with supply chain management
oHelp co-ordinate all interface and change management activities for the project particularly issues associated with variances between contractual requirements and as-bid conditions;
oHelp co-ordinate the various sub-contracts for the timely delivery and execution of the project;
oHelp co-ordinate with project partners, topside contractors, drilling & completions groups, consents
oLiaison with third parties, and client representatives as required;
oParticipate with Design and Safety Reviews, HAZOP, HAZIDs, Risk Assessments etc, both internally and externally as required by project;
oAssist the Project Manager in the co-ordination of and assurance of the safe, timely delivery of multi-discipline designed subsea equipment associated with the project;
oEnsure each project and work package is closed out in accordance with the project procedures

o Demonstrate HSE Leadership in line with company expectations. Be clear when setting out expectations to the workforce and hold individuals accountable for their HSE performance in line with our rules of fair plan and stress the obligation to intervene and interact with one another at all levels;
oUnderstanding of technical safety principles, HAZID, HAZOP, and risk assessment processes;
oUnderstanding of offshore safety legislation including SCR/DCR/PSR and verification;
oUnderstanding of task risk assessment process;
oUnderstanding of HSEQ Management System standards including ISO 9001 / 14001 / 18001;
oUnderstanding of clients HSE requirements;
