Subsea Flow Assurance

Job Details Responsibilities As the Principal Flow Assurance Engineer, you will have responsibility for the following: *Identifying areas for future technical development and advancement of work methodologies, and being integral to the development and execution of our flow assurance strategy. *Successfully leading small teams to deliver high quality subsea flow assurance design and consultancy. *Completing and delivering steady state and transient thermo-hydraulic modelling. *Developing conceptual designs for subsea facilities, including the preparation of preliminary operating philosophies. *Collaborating with other disciplines to solve engineering interface design issues. *Maintaining and developing client relationships *Developing proposals and tenders *Managing your own and others' cost and time targets to deliver efficient high quality consultancy services. *Preparing clear, concise high quality reports Requirements Suitable candidates will possess the following qualifications and experience: *An engineering degree in chemical, process or similar. *Subsea flow assurance and relevant process engineering experience *A thorough understanding of the fundamentals of multiphase fluid behaviour, thermodynamics and heat transfer. *Experience of conceptual designs & FEED studies. *Knowledge of operating strategies for subsea systems. *An expert knowledge of industry standard modelling packages, including OLGA and PIPESIM. *Experience with phase behaviour software (e.g. PVTsim, Multiflash) and process simulation software (e.g. Hysis) is considered advantageous.
