Subsea Control Systems Engineer

Subsea Control Systems Engineer Market leading Oil & Gas client looking for a control systems engineer for work on Subsea oil & gas project with knowledge of Rockwell PLC's and Wonderware intouch SCADA system. A subsea control systems engineer is required to assist in the design and development of PLC and SCADA programmes for an R&D company in the Oil & Gas sector. Essential requirements for the position are: - Rockwell PLC experience (Ideally Control Logix) - Knowledge or experience of Wonderware intouch SCADA system - All round control systems knowledge. An understanding, or exposure to, Subsea control systems would also be beneficial though not essential for the role. The company are a centre of Oil & Gas excellence based in Aztec West in Bristol and are looking to take on a multitude of engineer across Mechanical, Electrical, Quality and Project. The work has come because of an urgent requirement to develop IWOCS projects moving people from the Subsea Control Systems department. There is a potential for a long term contract though the initial contract will be put down for 6 months. Rates can go to £45 P/h and can add value experience to you application.
