For a project at our banking client site in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced
SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT FOR ACTIVE DIRECTROY (2480)
Our client is moving through a multi-year IT transformation where many technologies and supporting processes are being optimized and standardized globally.
Fundamental to this is a greenfield' Active Directory (AD) platform which was initially deployed in 2010 and became the global production environment from 2012 into which all consuming applications and services are migrating.
The key benefit of the greenfield' approach is the opportunity to introduce globally consistent, best-practice processes around user provisioning, administration & entitlements management.
Automation of these processes is a key deliverable.
YOUR TASKS:
- Leading design & implementation activities for core infrastructure service deployment
- As part of this providing guidance and inputs to Technical Delivery Manager on dependencies, timelines etc. Also providing detailed status reporting
- Production engineering activities in support of excellence in availability, stability & performance of products & tools supporting directory automation services
- Consulting with our customers on best practice leverage of our eco-system and supported tools
- Support other engineering team though consulting & joint solution development/delivery of integration solutions
A PRIMARY FOCUS OF THIS ROLE WILL BE ON THE DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT & DEPLOYMENT OF A NEW GLOBAL DMZ ENVIRONMENT THAT WILL SEE AD USED AS THE CORE INFRASTRUCTURE IN THAT TYPE OF ENVIRONMENT FOR THE FIRST TIME, SUPPORTING BOTH WINDOWS & LINUX
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL OFFER:
- SIGNIFICANT WINDOWS INFRASTRUCTURE EXPERIENCE (O/S, ACTIVE DIRECTORY) GAINED IN LARGE-SCALE ENVIRONMENTS (5-10 YEARS)
- DESIGN & ENGINEERING LEAD EXPERIENCE FOR MAJOR INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS
- Strong Scripting skills (3+ years experience of Powershell)
- EXPERIENCE OF PROCESS AUTOMATION AROUND AD A PLUS (SERVE, USER & ENTITLEMENTS PROVISIONING)
- Experience of 3rd party integration/support with respect to AD
- Experience of developing production integration & monitoring solutions (Powershell, Eventing, Monitoring) based on Microsoft SCOM, Log4Net
- Good knowledge of security concepts (identity management, group policies, entitlements management etc.)
- Experience of 3rd-level production support in global environment
- Fluent in English, oral and written
