Subject Matter Adviser- Interest Rate Derivative Review

I am looking for an experienced Subject Matter Advisor to join a top tier bank within the City. The role will require you to come on board and help them with a new project within their business.

An opportunity has arisen for a Subject Matter Adviser with Interest Rate Derivative and regulatory experience to provide advice to Quality Assurance & Business Review teams - to join a well-known and respected financial institution based in London.

Key Responsibilities

To provide advice on an ongoing basis to the relevant teams on FSA COBS and other rules on the sales processes.

To liaise with Business Review Assessors, QA Teams, Sales teams and Senior Management on questions arising and their practical impact.

To assess whether a decision on a point of precedent/clarification needs to be made by the Escalation Panel and if so to prepare and present the matter to the Panel.

To own the update of the Guidance Notes and related review templates.

To provide training on the detail of the FSA rules, the Guidance Notes and any changes thereto.

Requirements for the role:

Recent Derivative/ Loan/Insurance & SWAPS in Investment Banking or Financial Services experience.

Proven track record of Banking Compliance (Conduct) & financial risk management or advisory and a thorough knowledge and ideally senior participation in S166 investigations.

Has recent experience in Interest Rate Derivatives in Investment Banking or Financial Services firms.

The right candidate will have proven experience performing these actions at a high level whilst working with a finance setting.

Contract role offering an initial 6 months and is based in the city.

Rates between £700-900
