Subcontract/Category/Bid Lead - SC Cleared

*Manage suppliers against specified bids & projects within an agreed Category to ensure they meet contractual requirements and offer continuing improvements in value for money. Co-ordinate the development of relevant our companies Preferred Suppliers, as agreed categories.
*Negotiate and lead, unsupervised, medium-to-large-sized tenders and contracts with new and existing suppliers
*Monitor the performance of supply agreements and contracts and benchmark the services provided to ensure continued commercial competitiveness
*Achieve savings targets with suppliers through category management (including any leverage within the company group), ensuring that quality is maintained
*Provide Procurement advice, and supporting documentation, to Bid and Project teams Coordinate procurement-related data gathering from cross-functional teams and compile into reports
*Ensure key relationships with internal & external customers/suppliers, including Supply Chain team, Bid/Project Manager, Commercial & Finance.
*Represent my client in a professional capacity at customer and supplier meetings and special interest groups.
*Analyse data and provide management reports as required by the Supply Chain Manager and Senior Management
*Undertake reasonable additional duties as required
*Ensure that ISO 9000 requirements are fulfilled and that all work is carried out in line with company procedures
*Adopt, embrace and demonstrate the company's values and beliefs including Supply Chain Code of Conduct
*An adequate knowledge of and compliance with the Health and Safety policy and regulations consistent with their responsibilities
