Sub-Project Manager WEDD

Our client is seeking a Project Engineer for a contract role based in Cumbria. This role is working 37 hours per week Mon-Fri.

Role Description:

Project Engineer- Evap D High Profile Projects/WED
. Responsible for delivery of an assigned part of the overall project portfolio (individual or several Tasks/Minor Projects) within the agreed baseline and project execution strategy using a cross-functional project team to deliver the Tasks/Minor Projects safely in line with company policy.

Essential Skills:
- Engineering/Scientific degree min or experience
- Proven performance delivering small/medium size projects (£100k to £5m) for operational nuclear facilities.
- Experience on all project stages (study to implementation).
- Ability to work as part of a multi-discipline project team.
- Capability of execution planning of complex projects.
- Capability in stakeholders/suppliers management and communications.
- Experience of delivering brown-field projects for asset care, asset improvement and risk reduction. - Proven delivery of site based work ie managing supply chain in execution of site work.

Desirable Skills:
- Experience in High Hazard facility projects.
- Skills in handling Plant Modification Proposals (PMP's).
- Good understanding of nuclear commissioning requirements.
- Good understanding of nuclear safety case requirements.
- Knowledge of Sellafield or similar Gated Delivery Process.
- OCNS Security clearance to SC or DV standard.
- Monitored Worker.
