Sub-Project Manager Navigation (m/f)

- Responsibility as Functional owner for Feature Area Mapviewer for a Mercedes Infotainment System
- Project steering of software development team during stabilization phase (defect management / feature fine tuning) on multiple sites (Odessa, Munich-Garching, Filderstadt)
- Tracking of progress, defect pre-analyzes and active defect management
- Change Management based on internal/external Change Requests
- Reports to SW Project Leader Navigation
- Supports OEM-customer meetings aspects of technical status and project progress

- University degree in engineering (Computer Science or Information Technology) or appropriate graduation
- Experience in project or line management (team size more than 10 project or team members)
- Ability to manage teams and suppliers at multiple locations and countries
- Fundamental knowledge in navigation application especially in map viewer/ map drawing technologies
- Fundamental knowledge in terms of methodologies in SW-development and project management
- Operational experience in defect management, ticket tracking and team steering
- Knowledge of Configuration Management Tools and Defect Management Tools is necessary (e.g. Perforce, ClearQuest, QualityCenter, etc.)
- Ability to motivate and to communicate
- Ability to mediate between conflict parties
- Ability to work under pressure
- Target orientation, results orientation, networking skills
- Clear structured mind to organize people in a project team
- English (Must), German (highly recommended), Russian or Ukrainian (recommended)
