Sub-Project Manager

Our client is seeking a Sub Project Manager for a contract role based in Cumbria. This role is working 37 hours per week Mon-Fri for a 12 month period.

The Sub Project Manager delivers an assigned part of the overall project work scope within the agreed baseline and project execution strategy using a cross-functional project team to deliver the sub project safely in line with company policy.

Deliverables:
* Completion of specified work packages to internal/external customers to appropriate standards of safety, cost, quality and time.
* Understands project financial control reporting in terms of EAC/SPI/CPI.
* Sets objectives and standards for the team which reflect good practice.
* Complies with all legislative, regulatory and company policy standards and procedures eg safety, quality, risk, security etc. applicable to the role.
* Ensures that all project schedules within his/her portfolio are correct and underpinned.

Key Skills:
o Engineering/Scientific degree min OR a non-engineering/scientific degree or lower than degree qualification supported by an APM qualification (APMP and/or RPP) or experience
o Proven performance delivering a diverse range of projects at a complex environment at all project stages
o Proven capability of developing an execution plan of a level 2 complexity project
o Proven capability of participating in formal communications with customers, stakeholders, suppliers and senior management
* Proven delivery performance of tasks and projects at projects.
* Excellent stakeholder communications

Desirable Skills:
. Knowledge of Sellafield Processes
* Plant engineering background.
. Experience of working in a highly regulated industry
* Proven team management skills.
. Understanding of project delivery (Project life cycle and Design process).
* Understanding of Microsoft Project.

Pay Rate Details
£30-£45 p/h LTD
