SUB CONTRACT PROGRAMME MANAGER - MCIPS, IACCM, DEFENCE, SUPPLIER CONTRACT

A Sub Contract Programme Manager with MCIPS, IACCM, defence, supplier contract skills/experience is required to work on a six month contract with the possibility of extension for our Defence client based in Bristol

OVERVIEW OF THE SUB CONTRACT PROGRAMME MANAGER CONTRACT ROLE

The key responsibilities of role are to:

- Draft sub-contract terms and conditions of contract, for low complexity/catalogue items and on-site support activities.
- The sub-contracts are to include customer flow down requirements and all SHE requirements.
- Contributions to the re-design of the sub-contract pack for high and medium complexity systems.
- Provision of negotiation support to the specific supply chain lead for procurable packages on the sub-contract terms and conditions of contract.

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE SUB CONTRACT PROGRAMME MANAGER

- The candidate will be experienced in drafting and negotiating supplier contracts particularly the terms and conditions of contract.
- Detailed knowledge of Defence terms and conditions is highly desirable, maritime, defence or aerospace sector experience is also desirable.
- Will also have to be able to work co-operatively within a small team and be able to interact with senior stakeholders across all the functions of the business.
- The successful candidate is likely to be Degree qualified in a business or legal discipline/equivalent.
- MCIPS and/or IACCM qualifications or equivalent.

The role is based in Bristol - commutable from Gloucester, Cheltenham, Tewkesbury, Worcester, Cirencester, Swindon, Devizes, Trowbridge, Bath, Taunton, Bridgwater, Weston-Super-Mare, Newport and Cardiff.
