Studio/Traffic Manager

Studio/Traffic Manager, 8 month contract, Northampton

This well established design agency need maternity cover for one of their most pivotal roles of studio/traffic manager.

They are needing this studio manager to start in the next few weeks to cover maternity leave for 8 months.

You will need excellent communication skills and previous experience of trafficking work through a creative studio to be considered for this role.

Ideally, this person would have had a background within artwork as around 10% of the role would entail hands on artwork, whereas 90% of the role would be traffic and studio management. This isn't essential though, but a nice to have.

Job role;
As Studio manager you will be responsible for managing the studio resource allocation and the delivery of design lead projects for multiple accounts. Acting as the main point of studio contact for account managers and clients throughout the lifecycle of project(s).

1.You will communicate and trouble shoot at all levels and liaise with clients and account managers pro-actively, advising them on the delivery of their projects.

2.You will be responsible for the day to day management of projects ensuring that information is consolidated, checked and briefed effectively to designers, programmers, other internal or external resources/suppliers.

3.You will be responsible for ensuring that projects meet the specifications initially agreed with the client (the brief) and that amendments or corrections are mutually agreed and/or carried out correctly and where appropriate charged for as additional project costs.

4.You will liaise with the Creative Director, Designers and Internal Account Managers to ensure work is on track and to resolve any issues in good time to a mutually agreed solution.

5.You will need to prepare estimates and quotations for design projects - balancing time/profitability and customers budgets. On a daily basis schedule to creative work to the appropriate resource.
