Structured Product Controller, Swaps, Rates, Repos, PNL

Complex Structured Product Controller, Rates, Repos and Swaps, London, 6 month contract
Bank of America Merrill Lynch Requires an experienced Product Controller with work history in PNL having worked on Structured Rates, Repos and swaps.

You will be responsible for more complex control processes (daily or less frequent) including maintaining and enhancing process, day to day accounting control project ownership and acting as a system/process subject matter expert. Requires product experience & knowledge of financial instruments accounting relevant to their area.

All Skills need to be CLEARLY VISIBLE within your CV/Application:
-Daily P&L Production & EOD/Monthly Reporting
-Understanding of P&L Explain (Delta, Vega, Gamma, etc.)
-Investigation of breaks between trader estimate and actual P&L
-Daily P&L Sign Off by Front Office
-Break analysis and reconciliation between Source System, Subledger and General Ledger
-Cash Reconciliation, ARAPs analysis and resolution
-Balance Sheet substantiation and sign off
-Ensure that all correct control procedures are adhered to and a full audit trail is recorded and maintained at all times.
-Assist in the streamlining and enhancement of all Product Control processes and become actively involved with system development ranging from technical enhancements, new product release and automation of existing processes.
-Aid in development of team members by training and sharing knowledge and regular cross training.
-Participate to the business initiatives (new activities, entity migration, source system migration, etc)
-Drive standardization of process, application and data source
