Structural Engineer/Marine Naval Architect - Verification

Marine Structural Engineer/Naval Architect required - Aberdeen - Certification/Verification - Offshore Structures - 12months+

Based in Aberdeen my prestigious client requires an experienced Engineer with a strong Structural, Marine or Naval Architect background to review documentation and certification, as well conduct Structural checks and analysis.

Day-to-day duties will involve checking design principles on a lifting project.

Suitable candidates will have prior experience with Analysing Structural components such as pipes, umbilicals, vessels etc, and be confident to challenge other people's judgement and to closely scrutinise documentation.

Essential Skills:

A formal degree in Structural Engineering or Naval Architecture

At least 5 years experience of working on Offshore Structural and/or Marine projects

A strong ability to analyse documentation and certification

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Contract length will be 12 months with room for extension beyond this time - longevity can be assured with this project.

Rate is negotiable upon experience and suitability.
