Structural Engineer

A Fortune 500 energy company is currently seeking 3 Structural Engineers (1 within Major Projects Design Engineering and 2 within Plant Design Engineering) for the Robinson Nuclear Plant in Hartsville, SC. These projects are scheduled to last 1 year, with the possibility of extension. Per diem and mobilization / demobilization will be available for qualified candidates. RESPONSIBILITIES

- Serve as staff augmentation members of the Robinson Nuclear Plant Design Engineering team
- Provide review and oversight of Architect Engineering (AE) design activities
- Prepare plant modifications, calculations, and associated documents
- Provide overall structural support to the operating plant

REQUIREMENTS

- BS in Civil Engineering
- 10+ years experience working as a Design Engineer performing structural analysis
- At least 5 years of recent design engineering experience at an operating commercial nuclear facility preparing plant modifications, calculations, and associated documents
- Specific design experience may include analysis of piping, conduit and supports, and other structural members associated with plant equipment
- Experience providing operating plant support, including equipment troubleshooting and corrective action program documentation preparation, review and response is desirable
- Qualify as a Responsible Structural and Civil Design Engineer for the purposes of preparing modifications and associated documents in accordance with applicable station procedures and requirements
