Structural Engineer sought for a long term assignment based near Stavanger in Norway.
In the role of Structural Engineer your responsibilities will include the following:
- Construction and design of ships and rigging projects
- Finding structural solutions and support
- Preparing manufacturing drawings
- Producing construction and installation work packages
- Structural calculations
- Contributing to training junior personal
- Technical responsibility and co-ordination of projects.
The ideal candidate for the role of Structural Engineer will have the following:
- Senior level experience as a Structural Engineer
- Familiarity with the rules and regulations for structural design and calculations
- Experience of Autodesk (Autocad, Inventor) or other relevant 3D cad
- Experience of Calculation Software, ANSYS, Staad
- Experience in FEM analysis
- Offshore certificate would be desirable
