Structural Engineer

IMMEDIATE NEED !!....Engineering client is looking for a Structural Design Engineer with 10-30 years of design engineering experience supporting heavy industrial plant (power, process, refining, etc...) engineering & construction projects. You need specific experience working for an EPC firm involved in steam & power plant system design projects (coal, wood, cogeneration, pulp & paper, combined heat & power, or similar projects). This is a 4-6+ month Contract assignment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Design large structural platforms, hangars, supports, frames, guides and concrete slabs for steam & power plant design build projects
- Perform calculations for steel, concrete, loads, etc using STAADPro software

REQUIREMENTS

- 10-30 years as a Structural Design Engineer supporting heavy industrial plant (power, process, refining, etc...) engineering & construction projects
- You need experience performing structural analysis using STAADPro, STRUDL, or a similar software package
- You need a BSCE or MSCE degree (EIT or PE license would be a plus)
- Specific experience as a Civil/Structural Engineer designing concrete & structural steel support systems for these heavy industrial projects
- Any experience with AutoCAD would be helpful
