Structural Engineer

Mechanical /Structural Engineer needed for the estimating department for a pressure vessel manufacturer with 2 to 15 years experience with ASME pressure vessel code. You will be responsible for estimating, performing ASME calculations, check specs against bid, and verify material requirements. You must possess strong design and computer skills. RESPONSIBILITIES

- Primary responsibilities include estimating, performing ASME Calculations, verification of material requirements and coordination with the engineering, sales, and purchasing departments.

REQUIREMENTS

- 2 to 15 years experience with ASME pressure vessel code required.
- BS in Engineering, BS in Structural Engineering a plus
- Familiarity with a manufacturing environment, machining and an ASME code shop.
- Finite Element Analysis (FEA) experience
- CAD software required - AutoCAD or Solidworks is acceptable. Compress Pressure Vessel Design software, and Microsoft Excel a plus
