Structural Analysis Engineer - Tool Support

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Providing support, process automation, consulting and training primarily for Abaqus, Isight and NX users.
- Participate in engineering analysis software development efforts.
- Work closely with the FEA users to collect requirements.
- Ensure that needs are met including both internally developed and commercial structural analysis tools by working with FEA software vendors.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

- Previous structural analysis application support experience
- Experience in some of the following finite element analysis tools: NX, Cubit, Nastran, Abaqus, Isight and Hypermesh
- C/C++, Python programming experience
- Previous engineering experience required.
- Creativity
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Team player and detail oriented.
- Ability to make sketches, engineering drawings and common computations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawing, schematics and computer-generated reports.
