Stroke Occupational Therapist , OT, Greater Glasgow

Our client currently requires a Band 6 Occupational Therapist (OT) to work within their Community Stroke Occupational Therapy Team which covers the Glasgow area.
Hours of work are 20 hours per week over 4 days.
The successful candidate must have a driving licence and access to a car. The role is covering a maternity leave back fill and would be for approximately 4 months with a possible prospect of extension.
To be considered for the role of Occupational Therapist, applicants must be registered with the HPC. The successful applicant will be subject to a PVG check.

The successful Occupational Therapist will be required to :- * Develop a rehabilitation programme to help re-build lost skills and restore lost confidence.

* Write reports and attend multidisciplinary case meetings to plan and review ongoing treatment

* Organise support and rehabilitation groups for carers and clients.

* Manage a caseload, prioritising needs, and completing administrative tasks.
