Stress Tester (Regulatory Capital and Liquidity Experience)

Our client, a large retail banking organisation based in Manchester, require a Senior Stress Tester who has a strong background in Banking and Financial Services and a high expert level of experience of regulatory capital and liquidity.

Stress testing role skills required:
- Responsible for stress testing assumptions, framework and updating these across liquidity and capital
- Responsible for base case capital assumptions and any changes to these
- Responsible for stress testing timelines and risk and Issues
- Managing daily calls on liquidity and capital stress testing
- Flagging of key risks to senior management
- Sending out daily email updates to SMEs on project status
- Answering queries from SMEs doing stress testing and escalating any decisions that should be escalated to senior management
- Validation of model for capital sections
- Writing up the capital plan for and overseeing production of liquidity plan
- Co-ordination with liquidity stress testing piece
- Ensuring correct governance and internal forums for discussion for stress testing and capital are set up
- Key expert knowledge base: Individual with regulatory capital and liquidity experience in banks, and qualified accountant/treasurer
