A world leading Aerospace organisation is looking to recruit a Stress Engineer to join them on a 12 month contract. The role will involve being responsible for the evaluation of the design of repairs to structural components, creating structural substantiation and ensuring compliance with baseline certification requirements and Airworthiness Authority Regulations.
Essential experience:
*Experience with conventional stress and hand calculations
*Knowledge of MathCAD, Excel, Patran and Nastran
*Working within a similar environment with a mechanical engineering background
*Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis tools - Catia/Abaqus/IDEAS
Ideally you will have:
*Familiarity with composite materials
*Experience with Microsoft packages
