Streambase Developer

For our banking client we are currently looking for a Streambase developer

Start date: ASAP
End date: 31.12.2018
Location: Zurich
Workload: 100%

Main tasks:

- Applications features development (built in StreamBase technology), area of Trading and Pricing (Equity/FX), with in high throughput, low-latency, variety of integrations and high availability systems.
- StreamBase Unit Tests Development, stress tests harnesses, performance benchmarking, back testing simulations. Take part in the System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing.
- Application QA cycle responsibility.
- Seting up and improving continuous integration and delivery, as well as automatic testing system.
- Participate in the Linux system administration, monitoring and Scripting (to setup, automate and optimize application's life cycle through all environments, including production)
- Hands-on troubleshooting of applications during business hours with low response times and applications deployment before market opening or after market closing.

Ideal candidate bring:

- 7+ year software development experience
- StreamBase Complex Event Processing platform experience
- Very good Java experience with multi-threaded and/or asynchronous programming
- Excellent Linux administration skills and experience
- Very good Shell Scripting skills
- Relational database experience (Oracle, SQL server, including database design and SQL enhancement) and no-SQL databases (MongoDB, etc.)
- Enterprise messaging (IBM MQ, RabbitMQ, TIBCO Rendezvous, TIBCO FTL) experience
- Finance industry experience, knowledge in FX and Structured Products
- Fluent English, German is an advantage
- Team player, and able to work independently
- FIX protocol implementation experience for different business cases and asset classes is an advantage
- Elastic search and the ELK stack knowledge is desirable
- Bachelor degree in computer science
