Stream Lead

The function of Stream Leads is to ensure that the current IT environment is accurately described, the SOWs and future environments are correctly described, that the technical solution in the Supplier(s) proposals are viable, that service levels are clearly defined and supported and will be maintained at current levels and/or continually improved, and that problems with the day-to-day delivery of services will be minimised. Further, the stream leads are responsible for managing the SMEs, gathering data, reviewing and approving documents related to their stream, managing Q&A and walkthroughs, are ultimately responsible for their stream in the detail.

Stream Lead discipline: Centralised Computing

Primary Responsibilities:

- Develop and/or assure that the projected resource baseline volumetrics represents actual utilisation and appropriate growth.
- Establish new performance metrics and ensure accuracy of service levels.
- Develop RFP requirements.
- Manage Supplier due diligence
- Manage Supplier Q&A
- Review and technically evaluate Supplier(s) proposals
- Determine Supplier(s) technical solution viability
- Ensure timely and accurate data collection activities
- Provide input to the negotiation team and review of negotiation results
- Develop a procedures manual
- Validate transition plans

The Stream Leads should have a thorough understanding of their particular IT discipline.

In addition, this person should exhibit the following:

- Negotiation skills
- Project management experience
- Issue resolution experience
