Strategy Manager - Financial Service - Cardiff

£250-300 per day

4 months Initially (this is an interim position while a permanent post is recruited)

We are urgently seeking an experienced Strategy Manager to provide specialist and expert advice in the formation of strategies for a well known financial services organisation in Cardiff, South Wales.

We need someone who can provide advice to internal stakeholders across a range of complex and diverse business matters to include new growth, innovation, value creation opportunities and strategic reviews.

If you have a solid strategy tool kit and a structured approach to problem solving (working both reactively and proactively) then we'd love to hear from you. You should have very good relationship building and influencing skills and be able to constantly seek creative and innovative new approaches to internal issues.

You will need to create Board Level presentations and Business cases that deliver key business messages in a clear and precise manner and should be able to form a clear requirement statement and drive recommendations through constructive questioning of relevant stakeholders and through in-depth research and analysis.

A strong academic background, with a degree in Economics, Business Studies or other relevant discipline is required along with a significant amount of financial services experience. An MBA would be a distinct advantage.

We feel this role should be commutable from Cardiff, Newport, Bristol, Cwmbran, Rhondda, Merthyr, Barry, Bridgend, Port Talbot and Swansea.
