Strategic/Technical Commercial Director

Specifically you will have experience in:

Technical leadership

Experience of:
*Venture capital/private equity company
*Experience of taking raw science/technology to successful commercialization (licensing and/or partnerships and/or joint ventures and/or bringing own product to market - in partnership)
*Appreciation of the research & development environment as well as the commercial (University partnerships, Government funded projects, business projects)
*Technical development and research licensing but (ideally) also an understanding of manufacturing
*Displays, semi-conductor or electronic assembly industries (nice to have )

Strategic leadership

Experience of:
*Technology business in transition
*Not a theorist - able to articulate strategic priorities and most importantly make it happen
*Raising funding

Person Specification:
*High resilience to deal with ambiguity
*A strong personal presence and personality
*Mature and experienced
*Hands-on
*An in-depth 'C' Suite background
