Strategic Sourcing Program Manager Job

STRATEGIC SOURCING PROGRAM MANAGER for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in ATLANTA, GA.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Bachelors Degree, MBA or financial experience preferred
- Sourcing or Manufacturing experience

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Manage, communicate and pulse the strategic team's commodity supplier consolidation plan.
- Project manage supplier part transitions including documenting the plan, timeline and communicating with all stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to creatively accelerate supplier qualifications and work around any identified resource constraints.
- Provide analytic support for the CSLs for RFQ and negotiations.
- Provide additional support as needed to the CSLs including drawing package prep, RFQ analysis, Entitlement analysis, and target pricing development.
- Take on defined supplier negotiations as needed by team.
- Support should cost activity such as developing should cost models using aPriori for mechanical components.
- Support all Strategic Sourcing initiatives.
- Utilizing Lean/Six Sigma effectively to identify and lead process simplification as well as product improvement opportunities to deliver productivity and/or enhanced profitability
- Work effectively with Technology, Supplier Quality, and site materials personnel on opportunities for cost reduction and day-to-day problem resolution

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor's Degree from accredited college or university, MBA and/or financial experience preferred
- Two (2) years of Sourcing or Manufacturing experience
- Strong project/program management experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong Interpersonal, communication, presentation and facilitation skills
- Strategic thinker/planner
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skill set
- Supplier Negotiation experience
- Strong organizational skills
- Demonstrated change agent
- Able to develop a strategy and drive execution in a matrixed environment
- Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt or equivalent Quality certification desired
- OMLP/MMP graduate
