Strategic Sourcing/IT Manager/Vendor Manager

Our Fortune 500 client needs two IT Managers with strategic sourcing experience for an 18 month contract.
Ideal candidates have held various manager/director positions in an IT organization, where they had demonstrated strategic sourcing experience.
This IT Manager will be focused solely on Strategic Sourcing, which still requires a deep technology understanding.

Required:

- IT Manager or Director with experience in Strategic Sourcing
- Experience negotiating IT Software contracts (eg Microsoft, Oracle, Adobe, Akamai, HP, IBM, SAP)
- Strong Negotiation Skills
- Strong IT Project Management (PMP Certification not required) capabilities managing simultaneous projects of varying complexity.
- Strong written/verbal skills with ability to communicate/collaborate with all levels of management.
- Ability to influence key decision makers and stakeholders.
- Ability to lead and drive a project to completion.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision.

Plusses:

- IT Vendor Management experience or experience managing IT vendors
- Current CPSM or CPM Certification.
