Strategic Sourcing Consultant

About the Role:
Reporting to the Director, Recruitment Operations; the Sourcing Consultant will be responsible for building and maintain relationships with key candidates and large-scale talent pools to deliver on both immediate and longer term talent needs of our client.

Aligned within a Business vertical you will work with recruiters and recruiting managers to ensure that all immediate need requisitions are supported and meeting the business needs in a timely, cost-effective and high quality manner.

An ideal candidate for this role will be results oriented, self- motivated and driven to overcome obstacles. The role is more than name generation the candidate will also have demonstrated experience in research, competitive landscape analysis, creative talent mapping and the building of technical sourcing strategies against short, medium and long term talent needs.

Responsibilities include:

* Drive the identification of quality candidates for search projects.
* Prequalification and presentation of technical talent to internal recruitment partners
* Development and execution of talent sourcing strategies for passive and active candidates.
* Build, evangelize and leverage qualified pools of talent by segment and pipeline.
* Engage with Recruitment Managers, Recruiters and Hiring Managers to understand profiles for role based sourcing.
* Gain deep understanding technical talent landscape related to immediate need profiles and long term talent segments.
* Track prospects in the CRM and meet metrics for pipeline, conversions, and offers
* Share creative sourcing skills among the team you support.
* Utilize social media Sourcing skills to market the companies roles, attract talent and contribute to the companies talent communities.
* Create strong relationships with alumni groups, local networks and professional organizations to attract and recruit candidates
* Deliver competitive landscape analysis to internal recruitment partners, Hiring Leaders and Recruitment Operations team.
* Maintain partnership with the Strategic Sourcing function to maximize utilization of resources from Global Talent Pipelines
* Deliver internal Sourcing Training in collaboration with the Strategic Sourcing Program Manager
* Contributing partner on internal/external Strategic Sourcing initiatives

Requirements:

* Undergraduate degree or equivalent in experience and education
* 8-10 years experience in a Talent Acquisition environment
* 3-5 years of dedicated technical Sourcing experience, ( IT, Engineering, Internet), supporting global locations
* Ability to work independently and adapt to change
* Strong organization skills, the ability to track and maintain large amounts of data
* Passion for and experience identifying prospective talent and connecting with top talent.
* Strong Internet research and social media recruitment skills.
* Demonstrated networking skills, ability to "cold call"
* Excellent written and verbal communication
* Able to deliver results with little supervision and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Effective communication skills and the ability to build partnerships, work in a collaborative manner, developing strong working relationships with clients, employees, HR colleagues and key stakeholder at all levels.
* Full life cycle recruitment experience is an asset
