An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Corporate Risk Manager within a large public sector client to establish an operational and strategic risk management approach specifically within their health and safety, insurance and business continuity areas.

The clients' operational revenue is in the region of £2 Billion and the role will involve delivering a comprehensive risk framework throughout the organisation.

The role will involve the innovative use of risk techniques to assist in the successful delivery of business objectives, aligning the operations with current audit and assurance guidelines and ensuring the organisation complies with associated legislation.

The ideal candidate will require:-

- Membership of the Insitute of Risk Management (MIRM)
- Substantial experience of Risk Management in a public/private sector environment
- An up-to-date understanding of current local government developments
