Strategic Development Manager

Practicus are partnering with our client, a prestigious public transport services organisation to find a Strategic Development Manager for an exciting 6 month assignment.

The successful candidate will have worked at senior consultant or project director level previously, and will be tasked with providing as is analysis in regards to the organisations future transport strategy.

The team led by the successful candidate will also articulate outcomes and findings in line with a proposed bus franchising project.

They will be required to work closely with the companies legal colleagues to ensure legal framework and governance arrangements are in place for future operational certainty.

The other area of the business that will require close liaison is commercial, in order to develop a proposition which best utilises the opportunities of franchising.

I am looking for a senior transport professional, who has experience of analysing and leading the development of regional or national transport strategies (this could be from a rail, bus, local authority or central government perspective).
