Strategic Commissioner - Mental Health - Planning - Commissioning - Contract Management

A Strategic Commissioner is required to work in the Mental Health and Substance Misuse team, where the post holder will contribute to and support the planning and commissioning of high quality health and social care services for people with mental ill health for a major London Council.

Providing input and coordination support to the recommissioning of mental health day opportunities in the Council.

Specifically, this will include supporting the development of a consultation document, including a comprehensive Equalities Impact Assessment and co-ordinating the consultation process.

Work with market development and commissioning leads to further develop the range of day opportunity options

The successful candidate will include any qualifications that are legally or professionally required in order to practice in a professional, experience of working in health and/or social care setting, Public health project management qualifications and Contract management experience.
