STRATEGIC COMMERCIAL MANAGER - Contractrole working in Skipton House- London for 6 months. We are looking for STRATEGIC COMMERCIAL MANAGER for our public sector client.

ROLE: Strategic Commercial Manager

LOCATION: Skipton House, London

DURATION: 6 months Contract

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:

- MCIPS or equivalent
- Commercial knowledge
- Extensive experience of both major, complex procurement projects as well as managing teams of professionals.
- Experience of managing people
- Candidate must be able to hit the ground running

KEY TASKS AND DELIVERABLES:

This role as Strategic Commercial Manager is required to replace a staff member who is leaving the Department and cover is required for this post.

The role is a combination of team management and providing complex commercial/procurement expertise.

THERE ARE A NUMBER OF RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO: - - Providing commercial input into major, complex procurement projects for both the Core Department and it's ALBs.
- This includes projects such as ICT, Telephony/Infrastructure, University/Training and voucher schemes.
- Managing a range of about 13 team members, from procurement business partners, commercial teams through to contract management.
- Allocating and reviewing Parliamentary correspondence as required.
- Providing leadership for the business partnering function in the Department.
- Building relationships with key senior stakeholders in the Department and Arms Length Bodies.
- Various other tasks in relation to the grade of the role.
