Strategic Buyer - Marketing and Communication Material with profound Outsourcing knowledge wanted for our Zurich based client in the Luxury good sector.
YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- Expertise in Procurement, including Regional and Global Markets, Purchasing Guidelines, legal and contract competency, Claim Management, Risk Management as well as Procurement Methods
- Sound knowledge of the commercial and financial area in addition to negotiating and MS Office skills and the competency of managing local, regional and global suppliers
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, willingness to accept responsibility
- Ability to work independently and flexibly as well as customer orientated and problem solving
- Familiarity with packaging and communication material as well as the competency to use analytical and Strategic Procurement Systems (SAP BW, SMS, Livelink) is an asset
- Languages: fluent German and English both written and spoken
YOUR TASKS:
- Driving the development and implementation of procurement state-of-the-processes in close alignment and collaboration with the Material Group Manager
- Negotiating, executing and maintaining global and local purchasing agreements with awareness of time, cost effectiveness and delivery costs
- Executing strategic procurement activities, eg data analysis, preparing of RFX-process (Request for Information, Request for Quotation)
- Ensuring that all practices meet applicable legal requirements, relevant internal policies and procedures as well as efficient purchasing and logistics processes for the procurement
- Managing innovation along with collaborating with internal stakeholders and expert functions in addition to implementing the global material and supplier strategies for the defined business units
- Monitoring supplier performance systematically within the systematic SCB vendor management system
